Dr. Wesley R. Barnes

Dr. Felicia A. Ivascu
General Surgeon
Dr. Ivascu is a board-certified general and critical care surgeon who maintains an active surgical practice while serving in several important leadership positions. She is Vice Chief for Operations of Surgical Services, Section Head of Surgical Critical Care, founding director of the ECMO program, and Program Director for the General Surgery Residency, all at Royal Oak Beaumont. Dr. Ivascu trained in general surgery at Beaumont, critical care at the University of Michigan, and Trauma at the University of Miami. She is an Associate Professor of Surgery at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine. Clinically, she cares for patients with hernias, gallbladder disease, surgical emergencies, and complex surgical conditions.
Dr. Jimmi Mangla
General Surgeon
Dr. Mangla is board-certified in general and critical care surgery. He has been providing compassionate patient and family centered care at Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak since 2017. After general surgery residency at Royal Oak Beaumont Hospital, he pursued critical care fellowship training at the prestigious Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He is an active educator of medical students, surgical residents and fellows, earning the academic rank of Assistant Professor of Surgery at Oakland University William Beaumont-School of Medicine, where he serves as a Surgical Clerkship Co-Director. Dr. Mangla treats hernias, gallbladder diseases, and complex surgical diseases of the stomach, spleen, and intestines. Dr. Mangla has special interest in surgical stabilization of rib fractures, skin cancers and complicated acute pancreatitis. In addition to fluency in English, Dr. Mangla is fluent in Hindi and Punjabi.
Dr. James M. Robbins
General Surgeon
Dr. Robbins is a board-certified surgeon and critical care specialist, practicing at Royal Oak Beaumont since 1994. He is an active educator, Associate Professor of Surgery at the OUWB, and has served in many leadership positions, including President of the Medical Staff. His primary passion is caring for patients, including those with hernias, gallbladder disease, cancer, and complex surgical diseases. He is committed to compassionate and personalized care.
Dr. Mario R. Villalba
General Surgeon
Dr. Villalba is a board-certified general surgeon and critical care specialist, practicing at Beaumont Health, Royal Oak campus since 2011. He is an active educator of both medical students and surgical residents. He is an Assistant Professor of Surgery at OUWB-SOM and serves as a Surgical Clerkship Director for the M3 and M4 students. Dr. Villalba has completed an additional surgical fellowship specializing in Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Surgery. He is committed to providing personalized surgical care to his patients based on compassion, respect and trust. Dr. Villalba treats hernias, gallbladder/biliary disease, complex surgical issues, and both cancerous and non-cancerous lesions of the stomach, liver, pancreas, spleen, and intestines.
Dr. Sean Masters
General Surgeon
Dr. Masters completed General Surgery residency and Surgical Critical Care fellowship at Corewell Health East, Royal Oak. He takes pride in his education of medical students and surgical residents. His surgical interests include hernias (ventral, umbilical, inguinal, diaphragmatic), mediports, cholecystectomy, trauma and surgical rib fixation, small and large bowel, and skin and soft tissue. He performs these operations through employment of open incisions or minimally invasive (laparoscopic and robotic-assisted) methods.
