I was referred to Dr. Villalba by my GI specialist; they both worked closely to help alleviate my symptoms of a very rare GI condition called Superior Mesenteric Artery Syndrome; Dr. Villalba performed a Duodenojejunostomy on Nov 2016 and I'm very thankful to say it was successful and helped me get my life back. It's now 9 years later and I'm better than ever; thank you Dr. Villalba
He is a great surgeon. Good bed side manners. Stops an will.listen to your concerns. Explains what exactly he going have to do. He is good with medically challenge patients. I'm a medical complex patient. Multiple challenges. He will only do procedure or surgery if u truly will medically benefit from it. Not just because.
DR. Mario R. Villalba, MD is a God sent. He repaired my husband's hernia three years ago, no complications. Excellent .
Thank you Dr. Barnes, ER visit 1/3/25, referred to Dr. Barnes office visit 1/9 & surgery 1/15. Robotically removed my gallbladder, feel great & very little pain. Awesome Dr., great bedside manner & was right on with information. Thank you for the relief.
I went to Royal Oak Beaumont with severe abdominal pain on a Saturday afternoon. Admitted for emergency Laproscopic Cholecystectomy the next day, Sunday. Met Dr. Mario Villalba for the first time prior to surgery while waiting in pre-op. As a retired operating room nurse I'm use to "hand picking " my surgical team. Well God did a better job than me. Dr. V is the greatest ever. Thank you for making me and my family feel safe and secure. He even called me at home with my unexpected biopsy results on a Saturday. How many doctors do that nowadays?
“Could not have had a better experience & outcome, regarding surgery, after surgery care & follow up appointment, Dr. Robbins & the rest of his team seem to care about the patients health & well being more than most other doctors I've been to. He does not look @ patients as a #, as in $ wise, getting you in & out of his office like most other doctors do/ as quick as possible. Would highly recommend to anybody for Hernia surgery or anything else in the fields he is trained.”
“I met Dr. Barnes and team by a huge stroke of luck when I was brought to the emergency room on the 4th of July for a surprise gallbladder operation.What initially was very nerve-wracking not having had the time to prepare or research a doctor, you cannot imagine how thrilled I was to learn that I could not have handpicked a better surgeon!. I was lucky as heck that God chose the best for me! Sparing you readers the sordid details, all I can say is I was extremely blessed to have Dr. Barnes and team perform my surgery. Textbook PERFECT from initial diagnosis to recovery. I almost wish I had another gallbladder for him to remove! “There aren’t enough words to describe the positive, love, and care Dr. Mangla has given my husband during his 1 year hospital stay with hemorrhagic necrotizing pancreatitis. My husband ended up having every complication under the kitchen sink and some associated with this disease. Nothing anyone could have prevented, it’s the nature of the disease. Dr. Manglas experience and skills, intuitive care, and genius creative skills… has kept him alive having almost died several times. From day one he told us he would be there every step of the way and he was. We were a team and he communicated regularly during the most difficult of Covid times. It was an emotional roller coaster and he was there every step of the way. The mantra from day one was: were in it to win it, and slow and steady wins the race. Husband is home and we see Dr. Mangla in the office for routine visits which is nice instead of ICU or OR! Thank you Dr. Mangla!”
